Hi all, I have recently tried re-installing Microsoft Office Professional Plus onto my computer, after it was reformatted due to a OS error.
All functions were fine, but when installing Microsoft Office, this message pops up continuously:. I would also like to disclaim that my copy of Microsoft Office is genuine, and I had bought it at an official Office roadshow in my school. I had also tried methods such as repairing or updating my computer's Microsoft. NET Framework components and installing Office on a sub account, but none worked. This thread is locked. I have the same question 8. Report abuse. Really appreciate it. I really was getting close to buying Win7 Pro, so you saved me a chuck of change. And with a fresh image, I think next weekend I may try uninstalled Office I may have a little more free time then for the "beat into submission process" grinning.

Ed Nottingham. My relatively uneducated guess is that it is related to. NET Framework somehow. Really appreciate any help and hopefully a relatively simple solution. This thread is locked. No, Office and installations should be separate. At least to the point that it wouldn't matter what level of patching had been done on to the installation of Apparently I stand corrected. First thing to try is to remove the previous version of Office prior to installing new version.
